I am a field-based geologist that specializes in structural geology and neotectonics. I teach Structural Geology and Geomorphology at George Mason University.
My research uses topographic analysis and field-based research in structural geology and neotectonics to investigate the timing and development of strain partitioning in actively deforming regions. My research investigates the architecture of fault systems and how fault interactions influence seismic hazards for at-risk communities.
Results from my research have been presented at multiple international conferences and inform our fundamental understanding of mountain building, the evolution of convergent margins, Himalayan micro-climates, and natural hazards.
